The Worlds First Doggy Vending Machine A Labs Dream Machine1 300x181 Dogs in south London got an unexpected treat when the world’s first vending machine for dogs pitched up on Clapham Common this week.


The dogs had to work hard for their rewards. They were challenged to pull a bone attached to a lever. A successful pull causes a tennis ball to fire from the roof of the vending machine.


The next step was to sprint after the ball and return it to the machine before picking up a treat.


Every element of the vending machine was made with a canine’s needs in mind. It is intended to encourage fun engagement and exercise.


Dogs are enticed to approach the machine, the brainchild of dog food brand Bakers, by the noises it creates such as a cat’s meow.

‘Imagine stumbling across a doggy vending machine that adds challenge and excitement to your run in the park,’ he said.


‘All it takes is a little focus, and dogs can earn a tasty Bakers Complete reward simply by engaging in a stimulating mix of mind and body.’
